Past event : COLOMBIA- GHANA FESTIVAL OF SCIENCE AND ARTS

On the 27th of November 2024, the School of Arts celebrated its 10th anniversary in collaboration with the Embassy of Colombia in Ghana and the Centre for Latin American Studies. The event featured captivating performances by the School of Arts and guest artists from Colombia, invited by the Colombian Embassy.

Following the performances, a panel discussion was held, featuring distinguished speakers such as Hon. Kojo Yankah, former Minister of State and founder of the African University College of Communication; Dr Ferney Quiñones Sinisterra, a visiting scholar from University de Cauca, Colombia; Dr Cyrelene Boampong, a history lecturer; and Dr Samuel Nkumbaan, Head of the Department of Archaeology and Heritage Studies.
